Bags 和 Possessions Policy

What happens if equipment is turned in late, damaged or not at all?

Consequences for non-payment

一般的Policies

• Personal belongings (bags, purses, etc.) must be stored in cubbies or lockers.
  • Daily locks are available for free at 设备校验.
  • 大学的娱乐 is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Participate in activities at your own risk. 大学的娱乐 is not responsible 受伤.

服装的Policies

为了尽量减少疾病传播的风险以及延长生命 fitness equipment, participants in the fitness center are 要求 to abide by the following:

• 关闭d-toe 和 closed-heel athletic shoes

• Shirts/tops that cover the ribcage/majority of torso at all times. 
• Workout pants or tights/shorts must have at least a 2'’ inseam

禁止 attire includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Open-toe/open-heel footwear (s和als, 翻转-flops, crocs) or high heels.

锻炼Policies

• Only bumper 盘子 may be 使用d on the deadlift platforms.
  • Smaller metal 盘子 (i.e. 2.5lb, 5lb, 10lb, 25lb) are acceptable when 使用d with bumper 盘子.
• Use of powdered/loose chalk is 禁止. Liquid chalk is permitted.
• Clips/collars are 要求 for 使用 on all plate-loaded barbells (does not include 史密斯机).
• No dropping/slamming of weight, regardless of the type of exercise.
• Wipe off equipment after each 使用 (Touch Points: h和les, rails, 和 back pads)

• 设备 must remain in the 健身中心 和 Functional Training Room. 设备 may not be moved from these spaces without consent from UREC 工作人员.

• Participants must wear non-marking shoes. Hiking boots, water footwear, s和als, crocs, slides are inappropriate for these areas.

Dress code parameters may be adjusted to accommodate certain class formats. 例如, bare feet or stocking feet are permissible during mind-body classes (i.e.瑜伽和 普拉提). 关闭d-toe, closed-heel footwear must be worn when not participating in mind-body classes 和 when leaving the studio.  While some dance formats lend themselves to high heels or hard soled shoes, these 对木地板造成过度磨损，甚至可能损坏，因此禁止使用.
